When I was a little girl, I used to spin a globe around between my hands and dream. I always wanted to have my own business, and eventually realized that women all over the world get their nails done. Now, I have the freedom and flexibility to make a living anywhere!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In my experience, the biggest obstacles to starting a business are your own fears and apprehensions. But I was determined to be successful, so quitting wasn’t an option.
What should we know about Cuticle Nail Salon? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Cuticle is an appointment-only nail salon that specializes in high-end manicures and pedicures. We are a modern, intimate space committed to providing a superior experience without being focused on volume and turnover. Our work speaks for itself, as a walking advertisement!
Do you have any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general? What has worked well for you?
Recognize that you are already surrounded by potential mentors. Remain open to what comes your way; you could unexpectedly find counsel or advice within an existing relationship.
