Amanda, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started opening up my life to my followers about 3 years ago. My following grew as I started focusing more on fashion blogging and became a member of the LIKEtoKNOWit. app. Currently, I have 55k+ and have started more a focus on lifestyle blogging which includes LUXE fashion, LUXE travel, and LUXE mama life. I have also created the LUXEmamablog.com for my followers to get a close look at my life.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
YES! It took forever to find my niche. By that, I mean, what I wanted people to follow me for. At first, I was a mommy blogger sharing my life and pictures of my adorable boys. Then I realized, I wanted to do more for me. As an outlet to motherhood. I wanted to write and post about things that inspired me. I love to dress up and travel. I wanted to show people that they could still do that AND be a mom.
What should we know about Lifestyle Blogger @aivanelli? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I run the LUXEmamablog.com and there you can find diet tips and fashion trends. I really love to make other women especially mamas feel their best and only wish to inspire my readers.
For good reason, society often focuses more on the problems rather than the opportunities that exist, because the problems need to be solved. However, we’d probably also benefit from looking for and recognizing the opportunities that women are better positioned to capitalize on. Have you discovered such opportunities?
SOCIAL MEDIA! I mean, don’t get me wrong… you definitely need to have thick skin in this game (which thankfully I do). There are so many opportunities to express ourselves and so much financial gain available out there. Companies and brands are only expanding their social media budgets and women can defiantly find their niche and share their creativity online. It’s a WIN WIN.
