We delivered this massive 108" x 60" Black Walnut live edge dining table to a Chicago client for Thanksgiving. This stunning Walnut slab table was crafted of boards from a single tree and was custom milled to provide the 2.5" thick top that the client desired. The longer than normal lead time of 120 days was need for milling the log in thicker slabs, a month of air drying and then kiln drying in a total of two kiln cycles. The table rests on a custom made spider style base that was designed to easily support the 475 pound table top. This table will seat 10 comfortably and 12 when their family gathers for holidays. The Italian made brass and velvet dining chairs and new and still partially wrapped in the image. The spider base was painted to closely match the chairs. This custom made Walnut live edge dining table is beautiful, functional and unique and was handcrafted to last for generations. The finish is our proprietary no-ring easy maintenance finish that will allow real use and retain it's beauty.
