So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I commenced in the industry about 5 years ago. I was struggling and looking for part time job on top of my full time job. I saw an ad for photo booth attendant and I immediately thought it was odd because why would someone need to guide a big mall-like photo booth that is self-explanatory? So I gave it a shot and was hired and discovered that the type of photo booth service provided was unlike what I had in mind. Well, so I worked part time for about 2 years and then I finally quit not wanting to have 2 jobs anymore. After a few months I started to miss it. I missed interacting with the people, I missed attending the celebrations, I missed the positive synergy that was always flowing throughout each celebration, and the whole photo booth process so I decided that I would return back to the photo booth service industry however the company I worked for was no longer providing service so at that point I decided that I would take my passion and desire for the industry and grow my own thriving photo booth entertainment service company.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Far from, ha! There is no doubt that if you have a goal with a definite plan that you will certainly arrive to your destination however there are a plethora of unseen obstacles that will certainly need to be overcome and everyone will have to cut out their own road map to do so. I have had issues where I forgot a small, but crucial cable, and I was way out in the country so there was no “nearest” store that was easily accessible to me. Thankfully it was an expo and not a celebration for a customer so we still remained setup and ended up taking pictures for people on their phone and allowed them to use our props. It was a bit embarrassing however I would have been more embarrassed and regretful had I just given up and shut everything down and went home. Only a few weeks ago we had ALL of our photo booth equipment stolen. With a wedding & birthday celebration coming up there was no time to cry a sad story so with limited resources we rebuilt in time for the upcoming events the very next week. Another challenge has been marketing and learning about taxes. There are many more however through all of that there have been far more victories and I have enjoyed the process of building a thriving company. Also, after overcoming every challenge you grow as a person and company which gives you confidence to overcome the next challenge and at the end of it all you can’t help but to become proud of the person you have become because you will amaze yourself in seeing how creative you can be.

We are a photo booth entertainment service company that specializes in Wedding & Birthday photo booth rental celebrations however we do additionally offer karaoke rental services as well. Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I think my favorite memory is how, whether I was with my brother & sister or with my friends, we would make the best of what we had with limited resources and we never considered the possible dangers. We just had fun until it got us in trouble, ha.
