Today we’d like to introduce you to Lenny Mach.
Lenny, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
It was 1983 and custom conversion vans were the hot thing! Me and Bob Johnson were 23 years old and working for a van conversion place called Mr. Van in palatine. Bob and I worked very well together and decided to start our own company. We rented a 1500 square foot shop in Streamwood and worked at night so we could keep our day jobs. Our customer base started to grow and we were forced to quit our day jobs and concentrate solely on building custom connection. After 2 years we out grew our shop and moved to Roselle were we rented a 5000 square foot shop. The next ten years we built and repaired all custom vans for many of the local dealers. We also installed many accessories for suv’s and pick-up trucks. In 1997 we purchased the empty lot next door and built our own 15,000 square foot building. We still do van conversions for many companies as well as truck caps, step bars, and many other items. We also do mobile electronics like stereos and remote starters. After 34 years we have learned that quality workmanship is the best advertising. We have thousands of repeat customers, referrals, and a great reputation.

The economy has had many ups and downs over the past 34 years. We have always been flexible and versatile so we could ride the rough waters. Experience is the best tool for the job
