Meet Gia Dragoi of Chicago Wedding Engagement Photographer – Gia Photos

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gia Dragoi.

Gia, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
For me, Photography is more than a job it is my passion, my career, and my life. As I think my images show, I love to photograph most of all happy people in exquisite settings. I take most of my photos in a photojournalistic way and my approach to wedding Photography is that of a narrator, and my style is a mix of photojournalism and creative portraiture.

To that end, I’m more interested in capturing the moment, rather than a fake smile, and so, after many years of experience, I know when to capture life as it happens without restraint.

Has it been a smooth road?
Smooth but long. Constantly one must stay up with the changes in technology.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Chicago Wedding Engagement Photographer – Gia Photos story. Tell us more about the business.
I specialize in weddings and engagement photography, however lately I’ve started doing lots of family portraits and photographing children. I think what sets me apart is the fact that I’ve been in a bride’s shoes and I know the stress involved with planning a wedding. So, because of that, I want to make sure that each couple gets everything they have hoped for on the wedding day regarding photography.

Where do you see your industry going over the next 5-10 years?  Any big shifts, changes, trends, etc?
I don’t believe I will try to change the business with any major trends, though change is inevitable, so technology will tell me where I’ll be in the next 10 years.

Pricing:

  • Wedding photography starting at $1950.00
  • Engagement photography starting at $275.00
