Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam and Nicole Bordian.
Adam and Nicole, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Bordians Upholstery is a family owned and operated licensed small business with over 12 years of combined experience. The upholstery training was held by owner’s father, an experienced craftsman in the custom services area, for continuous years back in Europe. We were taught the best Europe’s standards of quality and practice that we continue to apply in the USA. A proof of our quality commitment is a clean line of highest reviews and customer’s appreciation, sustained by provided Craftsmanship Warranty. We are an experienced handyman team fulfilling the dream of creating fine and durable crafts and highest quality products and services.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We knew exactly what we want to do so we just took step by step towards our dream. We started as the majority in a small garage, but as we gained more and more credibility and trust of our customers soon we were taken in an avalanche of automotive projects. Therefore, we had to get to the next step- finding a large enough industrial workshop. It was not easy to get one, as we were new to the USA with no history here. But our dream and will were stronger than the procedural obstacles.
Bordians Upholstery – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We consider the upholstery a specific kind of art, we love to work with genuine leather, but with the same ardor and earnestness, we create products using vinyl and automotive fabrics. We are motivated by the passion for transforming a piece of leather, vinyl or fabric in a high-class automotive/ marine/ furniture product- with stout seams, fine touch and durable in use.
Our only limit in custom upholstery jobs is our customer’s imagination, and working together with them we can exceed any limit in the name of art. Our team has the experience, skills, and knowledge required for individual auto and marine upholstery, as well as commercial like hospitality, restaurants, limo services, lobby areas, etc.
Now we are one of the best Chicago Suburbs Upholstery Shop (ask Google: “auto upholstery Naperville” or “auto upholstery Warrenville” or any other nearby area and the results and reviews will speak for themselves). And we are ready for more, as our passion is still alive and fiery thanks to our every customers’ appreciation.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
No complaints yet. That is the fact that makes us the proudest. Each of the customers that entrusted us their projects was shining when picking them up. Some of them were delighting us of their “WOW”s, for others spoke the glare in their eyes. Now we are joking that we opened a marathon of collecting customers’ “WOW”s. Hope we can succeed in keeping that standard.
