Today we’d like to introduce you to Early Walker.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Was working for Cps Board of Education as Head Security. When I suddenly decided to take a leap of faith an start my own business. So I decided to draw my pension down, which was only less than 10k. Several people, friends and family tried to talk me out of it but I felt there was more for me than just a 9-5. So with a baby on the way an being newly Married (divorced now) I set out to start my new life adventure. With less than 10k to my name, I found a truck that was $7500. An old 1984 Ford F-350. Once receiving the truck there were lots of things wrong with it so needless to say my money was fastly leaving. After truck got fixed, I started soliciting customers. Wasn’t easy no one wanted to use my services due to the condition of my truck. Eventually a local shop by the name of Valasquez gave me a chance and front then on I begin to prove myself to others after hearing many nos. My dad and grandad were lifelong entrepreneur and that was something that I admired and wanted for myself. So eventually one truck turned into 2 trucks and 2 trucks turned into 3 and now I’m blessed to have a fleet of 13 trucks!!
Has it been a smooth road?
Absolutely not! Being told no was a major problem, mechanical break downs, no one wanting to use my services because of my equipment. Not having enough money to pay bills. Choosing between what bills to pay and when.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the W&W Towing. story. Tell us more about the business.
I own a Towing Service, we work with different mechanics shops as well as communities. Our company is known for its giving back to the communities. There’s a lot of towing company’s but few that give back!!
Also. first towing company that has a mascot.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I want to franchise and open W&W towing all over the world!!
