Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariel Sanders.
Ariel, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always been interested in real estate from a young age. I remember watching HGTV in elementary school and telling my mom “I am going to do that one day.” I have a strong passion for helping others I believe it is important to share my knowledge with as many people as possible. Real estate ownership is one of the best ways to build wealth and by teaching my clients what I know, we are setting the foundation for them to have lifelong financial security.
In 2016 I decided to quit my full-time position and plunge into real estate- I am not going to lie it was scary! I knew that working a typical 9-5 was not my calling and there was no room for advancement in my career. One day I decided to enroll into Broker classes at the Real Estate Institute and have not looked back since. In September of that year I learned that I was going to be a first time mother. I believe that my daughter is my drive to keep going. I want to teach her the importance of building generational wealth and helping others.
Has it been a smooth road?
The Real Estate industry is almost never a smooth road! There are many highs and lows but it’s how you handle them that makes the difference. I am my clients advocate and it is important to keep their best interest in mind at all times. One of the most valuable things I have learned in this industry is to maintain a positive attitude and to never get complacent.

I work for Baird & Warner Oak Park/ River Forest. My specialties include assisting: First time home buyers, investors, and sellers.
My experience in Architecture / design provides me with a unique understanding not only of the trends in the market, but also of the real value of property.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I feel like Chicago is a city that is full of opportunity for everyone! The real estate market in Chicago is booming and it is a great location to invest or purchase property. What makes Chicago a unique real estate market is that there is a place for everyone. Each neighborhood has its own character.
