Teresa, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
My love of Fashion Beauty and Style started at a very young age and never took it serious. It wasn’t until I was in my late teens that I realized all those things came natural to me. I attended cosmetology school right after graduating from high school and became a cosmetologist, then comes the love of makeup, I literally started doing my own makeup on and became a natural at it, then comes Style… could easily put looks together for all my friends, was always looking for the different and unique pieces. I knew then it was time to turn my Passion into a Paycheck
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
My art is creating Women’s Apparel. I have 3 Brands that I design and sell Wholesale/Retail. Each brand has its own unique story.
STMT(Statement) my very first Brand for women between the ages of 25-60 years of age which easily transitions from Desk to dinner… the brand offers skirts, Blazers, Blouses, and dresses
*DuJour is a brand the offers Women’s chic Ponchos and Capes offered exclusively in the Fall and Winter
*Blue Rose is a Resort Collection geared towards pieces exclusively designed for your next Caribbean getaway. Pieces range from Swimsuit Cover Ups, Kimonos, In different prints and bold colours.
*24K by Teresa Lenore is an accessories brand offering 100% Silk scarves, clutch handbags, and BOLD jewelry pieces
Each brand offers its own unique story, however the overall goal for each brand is to make women feel and look beautiful from the inside out
In your view, what is the biggest issue artists have to deal with?
There’s many challenges that artists face today, however I think the biggest challenge Would be Support, trying to find the right audience that takes you as an artist serious and willing to consistently support you.
