Always having a decorative eye and creative mind, I grew up loving makeup and makeup application. I always had friends and family asking for tips and wanting makeovers. After graduating college with an interior design degree, I decided to follow my passion. I enrolled at the The Midwest College of Cosmetology and became a licensed esthetician, focusing on skincare.
Wanting to broaden my services and knowledge, I decided to attend massage therapy school at Cortiva Institute after completing esthetics school. As an athletic participant in high school I was exposed to the importance of massage therapy at an early age. My goal was to acquire the therapy skills necessary to enhance physical relaxation and to alleviate pain for my clients.
Now being a licensed esthetician and massage therapist, I strive for result-oriented treatments. I have gained invaluable working experience that led me to the opening of my own space. I want to provide clients with services that I pride myself on and would want to experience myself. I will continue to stay educated and strive to stay at the forefront with the knowledge of new products and services to provide excellence to my clientele.
Has it been a smooth road?
The opportunity to open my own space presented itself at a younger age than I had anticipated. I was 27 at the time and had no business experience at all. Opening Go Spa has definitely been a huge learning experience and those struggles have taught me so much. The anxiety of not succeeding along with the ebb and flow of the business was very tough at times. Thankfully, I have an amazing support system and have learned to trust my instincts to keep my business thriving. I am now in my 4th year of business and will continue to learn and apply myself every day to keep going!

Go Spa Chicago provides esthetic treatments and massage therapy. Our menu of services consists of waxing/tinting, customized massage therapy (Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal), cupping therapy, customized facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and eyelash extensions.
Being a boutique-style shop, Go Spa prides itself on client satisfaction and interaction. It is extremely important to get to know each and every one of our clients and build a relationship with them. I want clients to feel comfortable and at home the minute they walk in the door. And the next 30 minutes or hour are solely focused on them and their treatment.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love everything about our city. You can walk out your door and there are endless things to do and people all around (especially when its warmer out)! I love meeting new people every day and welcoming them into Go Spa.
I would say the one thing I dislike is the constant hustle and bustle of the city. Sometimes it is hard to shut it off and take some time for yourself. I’ve been learning to take more time for myself and come back to Go Spa more refreshed!
