Today we’d like to introduce you to Ciara Jibri.
She who wears many hats, literally and figuratively. Ciara is a dynamic, straightforward thinking self starter from Chicago who architects multi-faceted strategies incorporating public relations, influencer marketing and event planning. Also being the founder of HAUS of Mimosa which is a bi-monthly networking social that highlights the upcoming, unknown & established creatives/entrepreneurs in conversation whilst having unlimited mimosas as a beverage.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a easy road on the road of public relations and event planning but it most certainly have been worth it! Entrepreneurship requires you to invest in yourself. It takes a lot of money, time and patience.
I often struggle with how I am going to fund my projects, but I always work hard and make a way! Trying is not in my vocabulary whatsoever.
Ciara Ji’Bri PR & HAUS of Mimosa – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I specialize in communications, event planning, and public relations. I help both apparel companies/ brands and retail stores build a desired image to reach their target audience and then maintain it through a variety of creative promotions. I also help generate and manage publicity for a company, brand or public figure.
I’m known to be the Networking GuRu from all of the contacts and people I know, I am able to connect so many people from different walks of life. When people attend my events, I create a comfortable atmosphere that allows people to talk amongst one another. Everyone always leaves my events with a new business deal, contract or contract.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career thus far has been creating HAUS of Mimosa which is my bi-monthly networking social I have created and seeing the event series running so smoothly and successfully. I invest in everything from the venue to the series themes, the execution of the events to whose apart of them.
