Kevin, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My passion for natural remedies was the inspiration for Nature Maid Clean. Like many people, over the years I’ve spent a lot of time researching natural remedies and healthier options to what I might find in a drug store. After years of using natural, non-toxic home and personal care products, I decided to share my knowledge and passion with the rest of Chicago in the form of a natural cleaning company. By pairing my knowledge of non-toxic solutions with very talented cleaning professionals, I’ve created an awesome cleaning company that focuses on preserving the health of our clients and our teams.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t quite been a bumpy road. We’ve found that a lot of people are happy to have non-toxic cleaning available within their city. A challenge we had in the beginning was paring down the services we offered. My partner and I know a lot of natural solutions and we wanted to offer all of them. However, we found more success in narrowing down to some core services. Over time we would like to gradually offer more holistic products, though.

We offer natural and non-toxic cleaning services – what some people would call “green cleaning”. Our goal is to provide Chicago with cleaning services that are eco-friendly and affordable.
Our clients would say that we are known for doing great work! A lot of our clients lead very busy lives or have newborn babies. They appreciate that we can make their homes super clean, happy and healthy.
I think the thing that I am most proud of is the product that we provide. We hire only the finest cleaning professionals with several years of industry experience and we only use top quality natural cleaning products. The results are just terrific!
What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been free thinking and health conscious. I was also very entrepreneurial as a kid. I loved to learn about new things, and was always looking for ways to simplify life’s complexities.
