Today we’d like to introduce you to Efrain Albertos.
Efrain, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
The company star by working on small projects and after a couple of homes flips I decided that I was able to compete with major companies maybe not in quantity but in quality, I’m a immigrant from Venezuela a beautiful country that fell in to communism, just on the beginning of it I decide to moved to the US and started a entrepreneurial life that I learn from my mother by always having her business, Brush Painting is the last of my projects and by providing excellent customer service and quality on our work we are getting big demand on referrals, Brush is growing on big contracts with commercial properties as well. I’m also a Broker Agent full license with the state of Illinois for Property and Casualty Insurance an I own El Guero Insurance in Bolingbrook Illinois, at El Guero Insurance, we focus primarily in customer service and quality of insurance and our goal is to provide to our customers the best insurance at a low price, this way we compete with the big Players in the Market.
I’m always been self-motivated and I believe that if you like what you do and you help people by doing it is a great way to grow and fulfill your self with success. Neither of my projects was successful from day to night, everything needs time and I’m a very persistent person.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The Struggles are always a lot, between them from no having “customers and income” at a star to be investing my capital on dreams… but I always have dreams with goals because if you dream and you don’t have goals they are just dreams.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Brush Painting and Remodeling and El Guero Insurance story. Tell us more about the business.
Brush Painting and Remodeling specialize in big and small home and commercial projects, form painting a home to be painting and remodeling on apartments buildings, hotels, and repairs, etc.. brush is growing with commercial contracts and we are very successful with our customer satisfaction, on the other hand, El Guero Insurance is specializing in home, auto, life and commercial insurance and we also provide tax services and Notary Public, I also want to extend El Guero Insurance to the real estate business in the near future.
I’m both of my business what set us apart is Customer service and price, we are not looking on getting rich from one customer, we want to be there for your present and future needs and we are very successful at it.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck or at least I don’t think that luck played in my favor on business, I really believe that everything is passion and patience plus been perseverant, that’s what played I’m my life and business.
If you have passion and you like what you do in life, every day is easy to become successful… of course, not in one day or two because you need to learn to have patience, all things are difficult before they become easy but if you are very perseverant in achieving your goals I really believe that everything is possible.
