Nadiia and Caroline, please share your story with us.
We have both been passionate about beauty and fashion our entire lives. It was something that created an instant connection between us about five years ago, and that’s precisely the reason we became friends. We both live, work and chase our dreams in Chicago. Back then, we had different jobs, but ultimately the same goal: To create a channel where we could connect with women around the world and share our vision of beauty, fashion, relationships and everything in between. Our blog, Next Destination: Style, is exactly that. We believe that nothing worth doing comes easy. That’s the reason why we never get tired of working on ourselves and our ideas. We believe that the only key to success: Hustle harder.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We don’t think that anyone who ever tried to create something or do anything on his/her own has a picture-perfect story where everything just falls into place. Each day has a new lesson, something new to learn, new obstacles we need to overcome. But what keeps us motivated and encouraged is our belief that every challenge is a chance to learn. One of the biggest struggles we have is time management. How to find time between our personal lives and jobs to make Next Destination: Style work, and how to find time and resources to take it to the next level. Our advice for other women? The only advice we can give to young women who are just starting their journey is to just start. Don’t doubt yourself because there will be so many people who will do that for you. Be confident and fearless. Set goals. It’s much easier to work on something when you know where you are going and where you want to be. Be ready to work hard. Be ready to hustle, and trust us, there is nothing more rewarding than that.

It would be really hard for us to single out one topic that we are extremely passionate about. We love everything that is related to fashion, skincare, beauty, art, business and soul care, everything that shapes our lives as women. Anything that helps us expand our creative side and helps us grow spiritually, professionally, anything that develops our entrepreneurial skills. We provide relatable content that we know women of all ages are looking for in terms of real reviews, shopping guides, and personal experiences. We have many projects on the “to do list” and we are hoping that this blog will truly become a great platform for that.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
One of our biggest inspirations is the people we surround ourselves with. Watching our family and friends set goals and achieve them gives us the motivation to do the same. We find it paramount to surround yourself with people who have a similar mindset and goals as you. It’s important to surround yourself with people that will support and encourage you. They say you should surround yourself with people that are a reflection of yourself and who you aspire to be. Networking is a great way to get out there and make connections. It’s one of the easiest ways to meet new people, hear their stories and learn about something you might have never heard before. You should never limit yourself to one mentor. Be open-minded. Listen, listen and listen some more. Find podcasts that fit your industry. That’s been very helpful for us. Always look for chances to learn more. Listen to people that launched businesses or services, people that came up with great ideas in the industry you want to see yourself grow. If they can do it, so can you.
