Today we’d like to introduce you to Zubin Sherring.
Zubin, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Being a spiritual teacher is a response to the passion of being an intuitive who has learned to work with sensitivity. I started when I reached that moment that connecting with others is invaluable but so is the connection within myself. I grew up in an environment where education was encouraged and my learning of different cultures made it possible to appreciate people globally. I studied, played, and learned with people from 30 different countries and my experiences helped in wanting make the world a better place within my own range of capability. Spiritual self-discovery lead to a small but adequate understanding of how we each play a part in life. And that we can coexist. The hard part was how to invite others to do the same. And that was in 2000.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We understand challenges that can be fun only when the solution is known. Or it can be intense and the answer is not in that instant. Learning patience was a challenge! The center has its own rhythm and creating the balance is an ongoing challenge because things change. Learning to not take things personally was a challenge and often chocolate and ice cream were (and still are) great answers. The center is growing and so is the want of others to be an integral part of it to empower others. So, the challenges will be different going forward.

Offer a safe haven for spiritual development and growth through meditative tools and techniques. We are different in that there is no rigid ideology in our practice. Most proud of: People find trust and take many steps and then they find themselves taking leaps of faith they would not earlier on. We just sit back enjoy their unfolding.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Whatever we do here now is effective. We have found that simplicity is key and there is no need to reinvent the wheel! We see the information will be more sought after in the growing need to develop and foster wellness in oneself first before helping others. There are so many avenues of learning and we are happy to be a healthy option. A new set of classes may possibly be offered as continued credit for practitioners.
