Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Finlayson-Banasiak.
Started in 2007 by Britt Whitfield, it all began with Revel Global Events. The following year, Revel Decor founded by Clint Paton joined the party thus creating The Revel Group. The two saw a need for a comprehensive event offer to service clients and all of their event needs. In the following years, The Revel Group continued to grow. Revel Space, a portfolio of event venues including Revel Fulton Market, Vertiport and the soon to open Revel Motor Row. Limelight Catering, a well-known and respected off-premise catering company was acquired quickly growing the company the over 200 full time employees. The most recent addition is Spotlight Chicago – a local destination management company servicing the companies and associations coming to the metro area for meetings, tradeshows and event. Each company remains independently operated allowing clients to us all or just one of our services.
Today the company is led by Britt & Clint along with Sarah Finlayson as Chief Creative Officer and Archie Listenbee as Chief Financial Officer, in addition an executive chef, director of operations and chief of staff. This team of management services all the brands providing leadership, guidance with a focus on future growth goals.
Has it been a smooth road?
For the most part the road has been as smooth and it can be. I believe it is because of the strong leadership team that is quick to make changes, always looking for opportunities and ensuring our culture inspires each of our team members to operate with the mindset of an entrepreneur.
