Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Khalil.
Nadia is a teacher of self-love and based on how that looks and feels to you, you can build a workable, achievable life plan. Start looking forward to your life rather than feel fear, doubt or worry or constantly wonder how you are going to live the life you dream of and want to live.
Distinguished book author, international radio show host, private life coach, and teacher of self-love, with dynamic experience inspiring varied audiences, such as church groups, corporations, book clubs, etc. Nadia is a Palestinian-American, born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised as a Muslim.
Her first language was Arabic and her first English lessons came through her American babysitter. As an adult, Nadia began having experiences that she ultimately recognized as conversations with Christ. They were so powerful that she began recording them in a journal. Her writings are taken from those experiences. The first time Nadia saw Christ, she was having dinner at a restaurant with a friend. She felt a warm, calming breeze and all she could see was pure white light. The light identified itself as Christ and told her that her purpose here on Earth was to bridge people, souls, back to them. Through her books and writings, she takes your soul on a journey of self-discovery that will ultimately lead you to live in a state of utmost truth, love and purity.
Nadia has written three books, Little Wing, Origins of Truth, and Original Love in which she talks about her conversations with Christ. She has also published various articles and regularly speaks to groups about her experiences. Nadia currently lives in Southern California with her family.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It is a very scary step to leave a job that you collect a regular weekly paycheck with benefits and structure. It has not been a smooth road, yet a road worth discovering. Struggles along the way were time and money. It takes time to build a brand, a reputation, a product that people grow to understand, need, want, desire and are will to pay for and accept. As an author, I was challenging the norms of thought, even though the challenges I posed for others, were to take a look at truth, love, and purity in their lives. I did a lot of work for free in the beginning and counseled people on the spot and found all time going to proving I could help people grow and evolve and love their lives one at a time. Once I realized I could do it, I started taking scheduled appointments and charging a fee.
As well, I started doing a radio show that allowed me to talk about my topic five days a week for 1/2 hour every morning and that exercised a muscle I did not have of speaking on my topics on the spot.
The advice I would give is to find a mentor, create a plan so that you know where you are going. One of my fallacies was that I would work and work and work and one day make it. What was in my mind was that someone would find me and support my work so that I could do it. That did not happen.
I now have a mentor and a business model of building a future for my work/business. I found that I was too close to it to see it for what it is and I wanted someone to save me. Save me from what? Who knows, however, I found myself enough to know what I did not know and seek what I needed rather than hoping it would find me. Helping people, being of service to others is finding a way to work in our world so if you have an idea you want to develop, seek out others who are already doing it and have a desire to mentor those who are just starting out. Put your work into a powerpoint presentation or a business plan that explains how you will monetize your business to start with then it can be looked at, amended and turned into a workable plan so that you can continue to do your work and it is a win-win situation rather than a sacrificial situation.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Nadia Khalil – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
By now, I have been doing this for 16 years. I change lives and the lives I change grow from good to great. I use to not say this out loud, however, the testimonials, the feedback, the marriages saved, the relationships grown, the self-love growths on an individual basis have burst my heart over and over again.
I love people. I see their greatness, and since I had the vision of Christ 16 years ago, in a restaurant, not while I was alone, including that evening, my life has been one that leads others to their greatest selves. If you have blocks or troubles with relationships, love, friendships, jobs, partners, children, parents, I have been through lesson after lesson of experience since I saw Christ and I can see your higher self, the person you came here to be and guide to you to seeing for yourself. The books I have written have been a great guidance as well. At the time I wrote them I had no idea anyone would read them.
I was told my job is to bridge people’s souls back to them and I have been doing so ever since I saw Christ even when I myself did not realize I was doing that.
I provide peace of mind and heart. I build a calmness in us that brings the bigness in us out of us. I enjoy seeing the lights turn on over and over again.
What sets me apart from others? Hmmmm, my love of my work. The intimacy of love and my belief in love power.
Do you think there are structural or other barriers impeding the emergence of more female leaders?
Female leadership is at times looked at as secondary leadership in a way. We have a wide road to walk on and can easily get discouraged without the support of each other. A woman is left to prove herself beyond and still, at times, we have to make it “big” to be taken to bigger platforms to speak, write and or teach.
The barriers are crowded markets and greater opportunities. For some reason one of the barriers for a woman is money. We do not realize we can negotiate our rates, make deals and create contracts that benefit us. We need to be taught learning to value ourselves and value our work and monetize our worth and be able to grow our businesses to profitable life-sustaining and life growing models.
