Thanks for sharing your story with us Asijah. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My name is Asijah Marie and I am a 22-year-old entrepreneur. Creativity is my artistry. Growing up in the south suburban area and being made on the East side of Chicago allowed me to experience life in a way most couldn’t handle. I am what I create—by knowing this, I began using art as a way to escape at a very early age. Art forms of every kind. In my life currently; a new mixtape is in the works as well as a book been written. I’ve branded myself and everything I create. I AM

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This road has been a bumpy one. Life’s obstacles can from within myself. As a child, I was distant and emotionally unstable.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
My brand is everything I create. Branding my music, my artwork, my photos, Apparel and so forth. I’m only in the beginning stages of building my brand but that doesn’t detour me from what I know it will become. I know that my wit and reserved personality will take me far.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memories are performing: recitals, sports, auditions, poetry slams, cheer competitions. I can remember every performance I’ve had.
