So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Granero was founded in 2016. I was offered an opportunity that I could not resist especially since the restaurant was located in Logan Square. I used to shop at the Mega Mall one of my Favorite places it was a landmark . I wanted to bring a great place you could come to Eat good food have Fun and drink Great Craft Beer.
I was told by many that this would not work because Granero was on a second floor . But this did not stop me . I had my heart set on this place and I knew exactly what I wanted to do. So I said I am going to make this happen . It took three years but I made sure I did everything right. I put so much thought into the place to make sure it would come out for people to love . Its a second floor hidden gem.
Granero will feature a Latin flavor menu with everything done in-house. I put a lot of thought to make this menu. Great. We will also offer great cocktails and 18 Craft beers featured on the bottoms up the system.
Has it been a smooth road?
No, but I made it through with all the Obstacles that were put in front of me. I have always said where there is a problem there is always a solution.
