Today we’d like to introduce you to Adel Shaw.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Adel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started in a space that was owned by the Facialist who wanted to offer hair services. I was tired of the salon I was at and the bureaucracy. I rented the space for 3 years which I found out already into the 1 year that it was not going to be a place for Spoil Me after the 3 years. But I amazingly I made it thru 2008 market crash. After 3 years I found my space I am in now and have been able to take over store front next to Spoil Me to add Spa services.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The first major struggle was the economy. My other struggle is finding stylist who want to have a career and not just a job.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Spoil Me Salon & Spa story. Tell us more about the business.
We are known for our corrective color and Fantasy color. What sets us apart my team gets a lot of in house training, I have been an advance educator for almost my whole career.
