Dr. Bennett & Dr. Falleroni – how does this story start?
Vamoose Tattoo Removal was founded in 2013 by us with the opening of our Bucktown location. One year later, we opened our 2nd location in Lincoln Square-North Center. In 2016, we ventured to the Far North suburbs and opened our Gurnee location. In 2015, Vamoose was named a Finalist in The Chicago Innovation Awards competition for our unique approach to the Tattoo Removal Experience.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As first-time entrepreneurs, we had a lot to learn. Of course, we’ve had some bumps along the way. But, we’ve always kept our core values of 1) putting our customers first 2) sharing our success with our entire team and 3) giving back to our community.
Vamoose Tattoo Removal – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Vamoose Tattoo Removal remains Chicago’s only exclusive tattoo removal shop. Laser Tattoo Removal is all we do! We provide Effective, Safe and Affordable tattoo removal all in a relaxed, comfortable and non-judgmental environment. We’ve performed more than 10,000 laser removal sessions using laser technology specifically FDA approved for tattoo removal. Our laser experts are highly trained, experienced and licensed by the State of Illinois.
We pride ourselves on being part of Chicago’s vibrant Tattoo Community. We work together with many of Chicago’s talented tattoo artists and their clients to provide tattoo lightening to facilitate tattoo cover-ups. We host an annual Tattooist Art Show where tattoo artists display their work on non-skin canvasses.
Finally, we’re proud to give back to our community. We provide discounts to First Responders and military recruits. We participate with Full Slate to provide tattoo removal to former gang members and we offer free removal of tattoos no longer needed for Radiation therapy patients. In addition, we support local non-profit organizations chosen by the Vamoose Team
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
We define success in multiple ways. Whether it’s removing a tattoo to allow our client to get a job, join the military, erase an unpleasant memory or just to be “Comfortable In Your Own Skin” our client’s satisfaction is our most important success story.
We also define success by the continued satisfaction of our team. The Vamoose Team plays a vital role in the on-going development of our brand.
Finally, like many businesses, we define success as continuing to grow our company to make our service available to more people here in Chicagoland, regionally and nationally.
