Today we’d like to introduce you to Sharon DalSanto.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Sharon. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was at my former job for 9 years, and while it had wonderful benefits, I wasn’t valued there. It was taking a toll on me personally, so I really needed a change. I started planting seeds and spreading the word that I was looking for a new job.
I had begun seeing a chiropractor regularly for an injury, and he ended up helping me with that and so much more. I loved his treatments, and I was feeling better without pain medicine or drugs. My body was healing itself. One day during a visit, he mentioned they were looking to fill a position of “Practice Representative”.
All of my life, I had been told that my voice didn’t matter and that I was nothing. So much so, that I believed it. So if I took this job, I would have to overcome those thoughts and make SURE that my voice mattered. I would have to speak louder and stronger than ever. That was an incredibly scary thought. But all of my insecurities aside, I loved my chiropractor and I wanted to do this job!
Because of my firm belief in my new found approach to healthcare, I decided to leave my unhappy comfort zone, and take the job. I would be the voice of the company. I would be THE contact. I would be visiting schools, hospitals, and nursing homes, raising awareness of the REAL healthcare – chiropractic.
I have now been with LiveWell Chiropractic for 10 months. I have FOUND my voice. I have reached out to people, and they have helped me learn so much! I have met many wonderful people, and I now get to work beside amazing companies and people who want me to succeed. I will never look back.
Has it been a smooth road?
Chiropractic options are everywhere. The trick is to find a chiropractor that meets the needs of you, personally. What I found with LiveWell, is that they ARE different. But it took time for them to PROVE that. It took time for them to stand out above the competition. We are now expanding and offering more in the near future for our patients, but all of this took time.
Our new name will be Oak Brook Medical Group. In just a matter of years, The owners, Drs Eric and Jessa Schaid have graduated Palmer College, purchased a clinic of their own, and will be soon expanding to cover a chiropractic and medical needs. So all of this wasn’t easy for LiveWell, but we believe that it is worth the time and effort.

LiveWell Chiropractic is a family owned and operated chiropractic office that specializes in pain relief, sports injuries, and pain prevention. We also offer acupuncture and massage therapy. While at the run of the mill chiropractic offices, you are just a number and they offer a blanketed treatment that they offer to the rest of the names on their sheet for the day. LiveWell takes pride in the fact that we know every one of our patient by name.
They get greeted by name as they walk through the door, and the physical therapist knows exactly where they are in their exercises for their treatment at any given time. We give everyone personalized and individualized care, exercises, and treatment. The Doctors take the time to listen to their patients at each visit to make sure that they are progressing as expected. And to know if any part of their care needs to be changed or modified. LiveWell has the convenience of Xrays on site and is able to do complete exams right in the office.
Our motto is “The best medicine is to teach people how NOT to need it.” While medical doctors have their place, our bodies are the best healers that we have. If we are in our best possible state, we are allowing our bodies to heal itself. If we neglect our bodies, other parts of our bodies will have a negative response. That is when we suffer from ailments such as headaches, constipation, bloating. Our Doctors teach you how to care for yourself naturally, and help gets rid of the pain you thought you just had to “deal with”.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Great access to highways. Great food, and great shopping. Oak Brook Mall is minutes from our location. It is a great point of interest for people from all over.

- $39 special for 2 acupuncture treatments or a 60-minute massage.
