Today we’d like to introduce you to Bradley Glanzrock.
Bradley, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I moved to Chicago in August of 2013. I started out my career working as a television news producer, who also at times would film and edit. During my time in news, I was able to produce and write morning shows both in Washington, DC and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. During the 2008 presidential election, I was one of two national producers working for Tribune Broadcasting, providing daily coverage from Washington, DC to the entire station group. After my career in news, I moved on to work for a couple years with a communications and marketing agency in DC. Prior to leaving DC for Chicago, I was one of the segment producers for Monumental Sports and Entertainment, producing, shooting, and editing content for the Washington Wizards, Capitals, and Mystics.
All of these experiences educated, informed, and inspired me for my entrepreneurial undertaking when I made my way to Chicago. I considered looking for jobs, but felt I was ready for something more. So, in September of 2013, I formed LStop Media — a full-service content production agency comprised of industry and creative experts that prides itself on providing the most collaborative, creative, and efficient means to execute services for our clients.
I started out being a one-man-band of producer, shooter, and editor. Over the years we have built up our client base to a wide range from musicians and local businesses to non-profits, trade associations, and corporations. I now oversee an agency with a studio in the north side of Chicago that employs more than 20 freelancers a year, working on everything from radio ads and documentary content to corporate videos and commercials.
I still serve on many projects at the chief producer and cinematographer, but have a trusted roster of professionals that we bring in to customize what we do so that it fits best with clients’ vision and goals. With that, it is important for us to help clients strategize and make the best use of the content we produce for them. We collaborate with them to give the client and their content the best chance at reaching and surpassing the audiences and interactivity they strive for.
It has been an amazing experience learning and building something successful that I can now share with my friends, family, and a great group of other professionals that I partner and create with regularly.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the biggest struggles for me have been on the business side. I have had to learn a lot about creating the LLC on my own — setting up accounts, billing and payment processes, contracts and more. Luckily, in my networking I have come across some very knowledgable and talented people and other entrepreneurs in Chicago that have been able to help guide me.
I have also learned to not negotiate against yourself. If you know you can deliver a great product and experience for the client in a timely manner, then it is important to value yourself, your team and you work properly.

LStop Media is a full-service content production agency comprised of industry and creative experts. Our professional, personalized, and open-minded way to approach clients and their projects has gone a long way in making them feel comfortable throughout the process, to make sure they know we’ve got their back — the client’s success means we are successful in what we do.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My drive not to settle, always learn more, and be open to people and new ideas has been an important part to my success. I am not one to deny when I don’t know something. But, I pride myself on being open, personable, and knowledgable enough to surround myself with people who are experts in their own right. I bring that to the work that is done with clients, making sure whether it is me or another creative, the right people are in place to get the job done in the best way possible.
With that, I am known to many friends, family, and collaborators as a huge networker. I enjoy meeting new people and learning more about them. I think that open-mindedness bleeds into the work that I do. Whether it is a conference call or producing an on-camera interview, I try to make sure everyone is feeling good, enjoying themselves, and making the most of it.
