Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Rebecca Roth.
Lauren Rebecca, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve been modeling for about eight years as of 2018. I was originally modeling conceptual and bridal work, then when I was eighteen shot a cover in lingerie and since got into lingerie modeling. From there, I branched out more into fashion and built up my social media following.
By building up my following, I was then able to work with larger brands and photographers to produce high quality content I used to only dream of as a kid. By creating genuine content that aligns with who I am, I find people respect the brand deals and shoots I do more because it’s a reflection of who I am.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Modeling is never a smooth road. You’ll always have your ups and downs.
There’s always a question of how long you’ll be able to have your modeling career as you age. There are also periods of less shoots (or less paid shoots) that will leave you to question if the industry still wants you and is a right fit for you.
Lauren Rebecca Roth – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am my brand. So, I approach every job and photoshoot with my genuine personality. While it’s fun to get into different characters for the shoot, there’s always a “Lauren” undertone to tell you, it’s me.
I specialize in lingerie and high fashion modeling and became known from my lingerie cover in Elegant Magazine.
I’m most proud of being driven and pushing the limits on my modeling abilities. I’m always trying to grow and become a better person.
What sets me apart from others is my drive and focus on the business aspect of modeling.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success is reaching milestones and continuously growing in a positive direction. I try not to set a heavy criteria or strict rules for my goals as to keep room for change and improvements.
