Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Harrington.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Cork & Kerry has been a staple in the Beverly neighborhood for over 20 years. The current owners, Bill Guide and Mike Fitzpatrick, grew up in the neighborhood and have owned the tavern the last 17 years. They have enjoyed creating a place where lots of people share special milestones and memories.
About 8 years ago Bill and Mike decided to expand their tavern to house two private event spaces for folks to host birthday parties, baby showers, christenings and retirement parties. Space has been a huge success and a staple for the neighborhood to host many special events. We opened a tavern close to Sox Park about 7 years ago as well, Cork & Kerry At the Park. We have a full bar and kitchen at this location, which makes it a great spot during an offseason.
With a beer garden that holds over 300 people, the Summer is never long enough. You can always find a fun event happening or a rad band playing in the beer garden during the Summer. We are looking forward to 2018 and the goodness that awaits our patrons!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As the entertainment desires shift from each generation we try to make sure we are on that curve. Being ahead of it is important, that is why we believe that providing events and spaces for a range of generations is very important. After all, our neighborhoods are made up of a variety of generations!

We are ready to serve you a cold brew, have a tasteless conversation or help you throw a party to remember. We have an approachable atmosphere to create the perfect spot to hang out for happy hour or in our beer garden during those gorgeous Summer days.
With over 20 beers on tap and 40 different bottled or canned beers, there is something for all pallets.
Cork has plenty of seating for guests from our private event rooms to our 300 person beer garden. There is a spot for everyone in our bar. Our interior space brings you back to the homeland of Ireland with our vintage photos and authentic Irish décor.
Say hello to a stranger, make a new friend, fall in love, or just enjoy the company of people you already know!
