Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Freida Imbo.
Sara, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I grew up in New York and received my BFA from the University of Florida. I have always had an interest in the arts, especially painting. I used to paint more realistically, but over time, I have found abstract artwork challenging and exciting.
Has it been a smooth road?
I have always been drawn to art. However, I have struggled with finding the right aesthetic, and though it took me a while to embrace abstract painting, once I did, it was clear that it was the perfect fit for me.

I specialize in creating vibrant, abstract, acrylic paintings. I especially enjoy incorporating beautiful colors in my paintings, giving them a buoyancy that brings the artwork to life. I believe my paintings are joyful and they reflect how inspired I am when I create them.
