Today we’d like to introduce you to Marc Lifshin.
Marc, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Growing up I was always interested in the real estate world, so I decided to pursue my degree in Structural Engineering at the University of Illinois. Shortly after graduating, I founded LG Development Group, a Chicago-based real estate development company focused on producing luxury residential and commercial properties. Through LG, a student-housing platform evolved, as did segmentation into the hospitality and conventional multi-family markets. These new divisions are now known today as Core Spaces.
Has it been a smooth road?
In growing and stabilizing a business, it should never be too smooth! It’s been a blast but there have obviously been obstacles. However, those obstacles totally showed me what team members are more “Core” than others…and helped us build our team.
