Today we’d like to introduce you to Jose Richart.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Growing up in the Little village area in Chicago was a challenge for any young adult. With hard work and dedication, I managed to complete High school as well as some college. I began my career later in life as a private Investigator. While working in the Investigative field I began to train individuals entering into their new career. It was then that I realized teaching others gave me a sense of satisfaction. I take pride in what I do and enjoy helping others. Throughout my career, nothing has come easy for me. I have worked long days and late nights to build what I have with the help and support of my wife and son. As a father and husband, the safety of my family has always been a concern. I then became interested in teaching others the safety of a firearm. I have numerous hours of training along with certifications as an Instructor. I now open my doors to help others with similar concerns, educating them properly and giving them the understanding that I once sought.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has been very challenging for me. Starting a business is not as easy as one may think. There were many days I left to work in the very early morning hours and didn’t return back home until the late night hours after attending class.
Illinois Concealed Training – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Illinois Concealed Training is a firearms training center located on the southwest side of Chicago.
We specialize in teaching individuals properly the fundamentals and the safety of a firearm. We specialize in the 16 hour Concealed Carry Course required by the state of Illinois in order to achieve your Conceal Carry license. I am very proud that I have had a lot of referrals from men as well as women that have been very pleased with my services. What I believe sets me apart from other is the competitive pricing that I offer as well as contributing to the community that I also live in. I am certified by the National Rifle Association and approved by the State of Illinois.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Finally opening my doors for business. This is something that I have been wanting to do for many years. I now am finally able to offer and share my knowledge to others. After completing my class, even the most skeptical individual has left my facility with a tremendous boost of confidence.
