Today we’d like to introduce you to Damian Koziel.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Damian. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Auto Metro Driving School was a small family business owned by couple of entrepreneurs who retiring sold the business to us in 2002. We were starting with classes as small as few students and slowly growing over the years.
Today we sign up hundreds of students per year, teenagers and adults, and are proud of the recommendations they pass on each other. Our business is lucky to have hundreds good reviews which brings us more students every year.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The beginnings are always hard when you are rebuilding a business that was stagnating for many years under previous ownership, but hard work and positive relationship with my partner, Robert Czupta, was a key to our success
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Auto Metro Driving School story. Tell us more about the business.
Our school has been teaching teens, adults and seniors for a period in excess of fifteen (19) years. Over all these years serving our community we have earned an outstanding reputation for excellent quality of the training, convenience and professional coaching techniques.
Auto Metro Driving School Inc, is accredited by Illinois Secretary of State Office therefore must fallow very strict State laws and regulations and provide carefully planned, fully accredited instruction both in the classroom and in our vehicles.
To keep best standards in state of Illinois our school is systematically inspected by The Secretary of State office and all student records, classroom and course curriculum are carefully checked for any errors and omissions that may happen during the process of teaching. For student safety, each and every single vehicle in our school is fully insured and systematically inspected by Illinois Department of Transportation.
Our instructors are full time state licensed professionals that are capable of keeping the highest standards of teaching while at the same being patient and polite to all our students. We take teaching seriously and do not make false statements or make false promises to our students knowing that every person is unique and requires different amount of time to learn while at the same time be treated with patience and respect they deserve.
