Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Kelly.
Erin, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Thirteen years ago, I was looking for a change. I was sitting in my Aunts closet at 3 am organizing. She simply told me- “Sometimes the answer is right in front of you.” The next morning, I researched professional organizing and Arranged By Erin was born.
Has it been a smooth road?
As with any business, you have to find your way. I was a marketing major and pride myself on always thinking outside the box. I believe in developing strong relationships with other business owners.
Traditional advertising doesn’t tend to work for a personal services business such as mine. I had to really use my creativity to find a marketing plan that was best suited to my line of work.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Arranged By Erin – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I am the owner of Arranged By Erin Professional Organizing. My team and I specialize in helping those with home and business organization. I also specialize in helping those with ADD and hoarding challenges. During the summer months, I spend most of my time helping clients set up their new homes.
I take a brainstorming approach with my clients. I work with them to find the best solutions and systems for their space.
My business has won the Angie’s List Super Service Award 2012, 2013, and 2016.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love Chicago. It’s such a diverse city that allows me to fill my life with many different activities such as networking, cooking, and a multitude of cultural events.
