Today we’d like to introduce you to Kerem Arig.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My story is combination of destiny and wish.
Many people dream about having own business. Sure, I was one of them many years. And my moment came in interesting way.
Back in September 2008, I quit from my high stress financial management position. My plan was to vacation a few months and meanwhile look for another position. Week within my happy, free life, recent economic crisis called mortgage crisis occurred. There was surprisingly bad economic news all over the place.
I quickly realized that finding a similar level job would waste time and bad for my nerves. I decided to use my time towards establishing something.
What would that be was the million-dollar question.
I then remember something I had been doing many years. It was freelance translation in foreign language I knew. This was something I was referred by an elderly man back in 1990s. I was doing translation not for the money but rather not to reject those incoming requests.
So I partnered with my friend and established CBS Translation.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Mostly yes. Smooth but slow. Because, establishing a business is like raising a child. It takes time. If you have the patience and direction, you make progress.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with CBS Translation – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
CBS is professional language services company. We provide wide range of language services to both individual and corporate clients.
We think, we are practical. Practical and simple. This is reflected in our pricing, communication. However, we are very detailed oriented in our work. Our clients find us easy to deal with.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Nothing flashy. Only, we are constantly working to improve our processes and infrastructure.
