Thomas, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Captiva Web Design started on April 13, 2011. White flowers blossomed on that day. I believe that they led me to come up with the idea of starting Captiva Web Design. I did web design for my parents’ company, ARA Roofing, and for other family members before I founded the company. I thought I should make my own company to help me finance my graduate studies. It was a brilliant idea. I ended up making over sixty web sites. I never would have guessed that I would have such success when I started.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Quite a few customers were lost in 2012, since the economy struggled. It is a real shame. I could have a lot more customers now.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Captiva Web Design – what should we know?
Captiva Web Design creates web sites for companies and individuals. Prices can start from $200 for a web site. Prices are very flexible. Hosting is $120 a year. I am most proud that I helped quite a few local businesses in Niles get on the internet. If I would have thought of making web sites back during my high school years, I could have put nearly all businesses in Niles online. It is one of my biggest regrets.

Hard work, hard work, hard work.
