Donna, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We are the Original Dog Treat Food Truck in United States. Approx. 3-4 years ago, we started carrying cat treats. We now have 2 trucks in Chicago and expanding.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No. Being first was tough because nobody in the United States had a treat/food truck for dogs or cats. We had nobody to ask for advice and had to learn on our own. Still learning after 7 years because we are the first and original. Many City, State and Federal regulations.

We are professionally educated in animal nutrition. We specialize in nutrition/healthy treats for dogs and cats with allergies. We are not only the first dog and cat bakery as a food/treat truck in the United States but also, the first ice cream/frozen yogurts for dogs in America. We donate a percentage of our proceeds to different local charities each month. We have partnered with many rescues, shelters and Veterinarians. We have a special place in our heart for disabled and homeless animals. Proud of succeeding and not copying anyone else’s idea. All the above sets us apart from anyone.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Nothing.
