Today we’d like to introduce you to Tami Leviton.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tami. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I began my career in real estate 13 years ago. I was looking for something challenging and to have a job that I would not be bored, I felt real estate would be a great fit! I’ve always loved looking at houses and design magazines to see what was “in” and decided what a great way to do what I love and make a living. I also love the feeling you get when you match a person to the home of their dreams, there are so many fabulous aspects of real estate that I love, helping people move to their next phase, whether it’s moving up, sizing down, first house, or whatever their needs might be. I love the fact that it’s something different every day, new clients, new houses, new technology, the market is always changing and I love keeping up with the newest of technology and bringing that to my clients. I also love meeting new people and seeing the changes in their lives. I worked at another company for 12.5 years before moving to @properties. I moved because I really like their way of ” out of the box” thinking and ALL they have to offer us as agents and my clients, they are a wonderful company.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There have certainly been ups and downs, a few years ago I was dealing with a lot of short sales. It was very difficult to see my clients have to go through the hardships. These were all really good people that just got caught in the system. Also, there are a lot that goes into buying and selling a house it, and lot of it is extremely emotional for my clients, some good and some bad. The selling of a home that you raised your kids in for 50 years, or the loss of a parent is not always the easiest to part with.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Realtor with @properties – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I help people on the North Shore buy and sell real estate, I specialize in the North Shore suburbs. I feel my best assets are I’m very truthful and honest. I will not try to sell you something just to make the sale, I also will not lie to you as a seller, just to “get” the listing I truly want you to be happy and because my business is mostly from referrals I have been very successful. It’s very important for me to know that my clients had a wonderful experience whether its buying or selling. I have built a lot of great relationships through my clients. I also feel communication is key to getting the job done!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
