Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Lublink.
Joseph, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started Lu Design Studio officially in 2016 and I started simply because I love designing! I have always loved exploring the message behind a logo or brand and getting to know graphic design tools was my way to bring my own visions to life. I started by doing logos for bands and t-shirt designs and that gradually flowed into posters, wedding invitations and now branding. Which I love!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’d say yes and no. I tend to find a lot of fulfillment in any work I am doing and that always smooth things out a bit. Maybe no in the sense that there are always challenges to meet and new techniques to digest and always room for failed experiments to learn from. I have always believed though that it will work out and I like bringing that optimism to life.
Please tell us about Lu Design Studio.
I specialize in overall branding and design direction. My style and approach are minimalistic but do not lack complexity. I think that is a hard balance to master and I am finding new lessons in every project. Besides my actual products I make for people I am most proud of my communication and ability to understand what someone is trying to see come to life. Often people don’t know what they want and I try to practice good listening skills at all times.
I hope the attention I give to my client’s personal needs and the quality of my work set me apart. I am always hungry to be better and to wow my clients!
