Today we’d like to introduce you to Giovanni Solano.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Giovanni. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started almost 20 years ago with Exotic Limousines. I actually purchased a Lexus Stretch limousine just for my wife and I to take out on weekends and promote it a little with the members of 2 Gyms that I owned at the time. However we were getting requests for it not only by my members but from every gas station my chauffeur stopped to put gas in or at a red light and they would ask us what the name of our company was because they loved the limo and had never seen a 10 passenger Lexus LS400 limo. That is when I came up with the name Exotic Limousines and purchased my next exotic limo a 10 passenger Jaguar XJ. It was a complete new concept and everyone loved it, including celebrities. Some of our first celebrities were; Fergie, Ja-Rule, many Hispanic Celebs and even President Obama before he was president of course. Then there was a name conflict with Exotic Coach Limos so we changed our name to CelebLux Limos. We were working with many Celebs by then so it just made sense. Then during that last 5 years, we have been adding more and more luxury vehicles like Rolls Royce’s, Bentley’s, Maybach’s, Maserati’s, Aston Martin’s, etc. and now we are looking at going nationwide one state at a time.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been smooth. The maintenance on that Jaguar was brutal. Then the struggle for the name Exotic Limousines with Exotic Coach, even though they started after we did. They are out of business all together now. Then of course the economy change hurt business a bit. Not much because the type of clientele we service was not really affected and it also helped that we have basically no competition.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the CelebLux Limos story. Tell us more about the business.
We have some of the most exotic and luxury vehicles in the industry. I am most proud of the amount of repeat business that we get be it from Celebrities to CEO’s to everyday people like us.
What sets us apart is we care. We look at the industry and see the problems in it and try to correct them. Like most companies double book and we do not. The difference is if you book a weeding from 1PM to 6PM then they set something else up from 7PM to 11PM and if your wedding goes late, they will rush you so they can meet their 7PM reservation and in some cases once 6PM comes they will leave and leave the bride and party at the park where they were taking pictures. We have had to pick up quite a few and take them to their destination. By us not double booking, if your wedding goes long you will never feel rushed and we will stay with you as long as you wish or if you are just having too much fun and want more hours, no problem. We also have vehicles available at all times in case one is in an accident and you will be put in a similar vehicle or upgraded if needed. We had our 2017 Escalade get into an accident and sent the customer a Rolls Royce Phantom. She was super pleased.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Nationwide one state at a time to insure maintaining the same quality of customer service.
Pricing:
- Most companies that have Rolls Royce’s, etc. have a 4 hour min. at $450 per hour so if you want one hour you still have to pay for 4 hours. We will do just a one hour for $400.00
- We have a white Maybach for just $350 per hour.
- We have a beautiful 2 tone black and silver Rolls Royce Ghost for just $300.00 per hour with a 4 hour min. or $450 for one hour.
- Beautiful Party Buses with bathrooms from 25 pass. to up to 45 pass. and starting at $175 per hour.
