Today we’d like to introduce you to Teresa Frith and Ann Van Damme.
A World Class Concierge Service, Inc. was incorporated in 2003 by Teresa Frith and Ann Van Damme to meet the needs of time challenged individuals and businesses.
Teresa, Ann – please share your story with us.
We have an unwavering dedication to outstanding service delivery to our clients. We believe time is money and by saving our clients time we are also saving them money.
A number of people told us that they just did not have enough time to get everything done because of work and family commitments. They were concerned that they did not have any time for themselves. After a great deal of discussion and research we created A World Class Concierge Service.
We were already friends and neighbors, it just made sense for us to start a business together. We are total opposites and that makes for a great team.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We love a challenge, we have had so many clients over the years try to challenge us and we always get the request completed. We have not been stumped yet. Some of our challenging requests were:
• Decorating an apartment with rose pedals, candles, vases of roses and champagne for a proposal from a man to his girlfriend, we even tied the engagement ring to the dog’s collar.
• Locating a movie from 1957 and purchasing it for a client, for this same client we were able to obtain a tennis match he was supposed to record for his wife. He told us this keep him from sleeping in the dog house indefinitely.
• We had a very large stuffed shark shipped to a client’s home and then we had it mounted on her wall.
• We had surgery performed on a beloved teddy bear form a client’s childhood after her dog caused a lot of damage to it. Kringle was returned to her original condition with all limbs intact.
• We worked with a client who was determined to get her home organized as she was dying from Cancer. It was heartbreaking to go through her last days with her as she did everything she could to make sure her husband would not have to deal with her clutter.
• We perform away from home checks while our clients are away. Usually everything is fine, but several times when we have done checks, we have encountered serious problems, a gas leak, non-working appliances, leaks…
Another challenge or obstacle is reminding our clients that they can ask us for any service; if we don’t provide it, we know someone who does. Clients feel comfortable with us and trust us. We also have to make certain we make time for ourselves and our families!

We provide Personal Assistant, Errand and Concierge Services. We do the things the client doesn’t want to do, can’t do or just does not have the time to get it done. This covers anything from grocery shopping and putting the groceries away, to hiring and managing the handyman and contractors. Managing moves including hiring the mover, packing and unpacking and putting everything in its place in the new home. In 14 years we have yet to be stumped, our clients challenge us to be very creative and get things done. We have always managed to do that.
Pricing:
- $35.00 per hour M-F 10am-6pm
- $52.50 per hour before 10am and after 6pm M-F and on Saturday
- $70.00 per hour on Sundays and holidays
