Today we’d like to introduce you to Elesheva Soloff.
Elesheva, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started organizing for friends and enjoyed it then I started my own business 7 years ago.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I started out thinking I would work with clients who would get organized and not need my service anymore. I realized that’s not a sustainable business model. Another challenge is clients underestimate how long the project would take.
Please tell us about Soloff Space Solutions.
My company is Soloff Space Solutions and I’m a professional home and office organizer. I help people take back control of their home and office space, changing from chaos to calm. I weed out things clients don’t need or want, and find a home for the things they love. People assume I work with hoarders and are always surprised when I say that my clients are organized. My clients hire me because they’re overwhelmed with stuff and lack time. As part of my green philosophy, I recycle as much as possible through recycling, donation to charity and other means.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have found mentors with business backgrounds from the start, especially female mentors.
