Established in 2002, Ghazala launched Delicacy Salon & Spa on June 1, 2002. This is her only location because she believes in giving her clients the up most quality work and attention. She has been in the beauty business for past 30+ years. She started her career as a young mother of 5 back in Pakistan. At first she offered beauty classes to few young girls in her own home. But because of her friendly and passionate personality, within a few years she had over 100+ students attending her classes. She moved to USA in 1998 leaving all that success behind and started over again. After obtaining her American cosmetologist and esthetician license she decided to open Delicacy in June 2002. She is very passionate about her field and takes pride in providing the top quality-work to all her customers. Her team shares the same love and respect for their work.
Has it been a smooth road?
The first 2 year of opening the salon were challenging because not a lot of people were aware of eyebrow threading and were afraid to try it. But once they knew what it was, they couldn’t get enough of it. Word of mouth became her best advertisement. Ghazala also had to figure out how to balance her 5 kids (middle/high schooler) and run a full time business all by herself. That is when her 3 daughters started to help her after school and started working with her. It truly is a family run business.

We like the loyalty and love we get from the people of Chicago. Although we love everything about the city, we would say the weather is sometimes hard to deal with.
