So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Instagram has always been known for fashion, photography and, of course, everyday life. These are three key components to achieve a successful profile. I never really viewed myself as an influencer or pictured my daily life to revolve around posting pictures. Recently, I began thinking about this platform and all the positive contributions it has brought not only to me but to others, as well. My friends and family influenced me so positively and with such an immense impact on me, they told me I should expand my horizons, and trusting them, I did. As days went by, I began noticing myself getting more involved. After some time, other bloggers began to influence my drive as I strived to be like them. The most important concept that I’ve learned about this platform is that you need to have a clean page. Some might be confused as to what this means, so I’ll explain. One needs to have coherent content and not just random picture-taking like the person behind the camera is the Mad Hatter in “Alice in Wonderland”. Your overall profile needs to be concise, clean and open, open to your true self. By doing this, you inspire others to follow you and engage with your photos, and sometimes, even intrigue them to get to know you.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of course, with every new start and every new beginning, there come many struggles. My path began with my trying to have people notice my profile. It was extremely tough due to the fact that I never really had any engagement. I was shy but I decided to be strong and do this for myself and other women anywhere. My advice to all the beautiful and driven women out there would be to keep your Instagram clean, professional and sharp! This doesn’t mean that you can’t incorporate some fun once in a while to make your followers laugh. But at the same time, have a purpose as to why you’re doing this and what you’re trying to achieve out of it. Post quality photos, and this does not mean that you need to go out and buy an expensive camera. You can easily capture a beautiful picture with your phone as long as you have enough light, self-love, and magic, which you do, girl! Looking back at my journey, I learned that in order to get engagement, you yourself must engage as well. You want people to know you exist! And others want the same! By being caring and helping others, you open a door for others to help you, care for you and support you through the thick and thin. You just need to keep that door open for that kindness.

The images I provide are simply me. I am an empowered woman and I feel like I can shout that out to the world. I specialize in being true. This is me, at all times, and I am proud of that fact. People speculate and I shrug that off. I know who I am and I am proud of her. This is my “brand:” Shorter than models, wider-hipped than them, dark essence, sexy, sultry, beautiful and proud to be me. This is what I believe sets me apart from others. Being able to bring the wave of sexy and make women feel beautiful and empowered! So, ladies please, never ever get discouraged! Keep fighting for the things you love.
Which women have inspired you in your life?
As corny as it sounds, I love to say that my mother has been the biggest inspiration in my life. This woman raised an entire family and built something from nothing. She dealt with many hardships to provide a better life for my sister and I. My father is the amazing man he is because of her. She managed to get through heavy storms with little to no resources. She persevered. But every person has a breaking point at some point in their life and my mother’s faith started to dwindle away. But she held strong. Again, she persevered. She taught my sister and me what it meant to have strength and persistence. We weren’t going to let my mother give up after everything she’s done for us. And she didn’t give up, and my father and my sister didn’t and won’t, and I also will never give up on myself and my loved ones ever!
