So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’m a fine-art wedding and portrait photographer based in Chicago and Los Angeles!
Prior to starting Bonphotage, I attended UCLA and Northwestern Law School. I practiced international corporate law at large firms around the world (Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Brazil). Despite a promising and lucrative career as an attorney, my heart kept going back to my passion – film photography.
They say that when you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life. To me, that is photography.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have been very fortunate that my photography company grew very quickly. Since starting in 2015, we have expanded 8 photography associates and also offering videography services. Clients really like that we offer both film and digital photography, as many of our clients appreciate our desire to keep the film art form alive. I think they genuinely also see our passion for photography and how much we love what we do and it has been hugely helpful for our business.

Bonphotage Photography offers fine art photography and videography services. Capturing the love and emotions on a wedding day is our passion and we put 100% into every shoot we have the honor of capturing. Our style is soft, romantic and elegant and our preferred medium is film. We love the creamy skin tones, richness and texture it provides.
Having traveled to over 54 countries and captured weddings in some of the most beautiful locations in the world, we continue to be inspired by art, different cultures, and faraway places. We have photographed weddings and engagements around the world, including Paris, Positano, Istanbul and the Caribbean. When we style wedding details, we always take into consideration our surroundings to tell a unique and complete love story.
