Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Saile.
Samantha, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a 16 year old junior currently attending Barrington High School. I have lived in the same house for all of my life with my mom, dad, two older brothers, and twin sister. Growing up, my mom, twin sister, and I would gather to watch beauty pageants on the TV. As my mom told us about her glory days back in the modeling business, she would show and teach us how she would pose and present herself in front of the camera. As I continued to wear my Old Navy Jeans and my Target t-shirts, I never forgot what she taught me. Over the past few years, my passion for makeup, clothes, and modeling has grown. My mom’s tips have finally come in handy as I start to launch my modeling carrier. Even though I have had the best childhood I could ask for, I believe once I finish high school, it will be my time to leave home. Until then, I have been trying to grow my social media, specifically Instagram, in hope of making important contacts for the future.
Has it been a smooth road?
I would like to make sure young women know everywhere that life gets better. Right now, it might seem difficult and you might not feel like you fit in, when in reality everyone is feeling the same way.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I’d say that I am known for being an identical twin. My sister and I are both 5’10” which makes us very noticeable. It has also helped us get twin modeling jobs such as a recent one done in July 2018 with Paul Mitchell. We also walked for 10 designers in LA Fashion Week last spring.
Do you recommend any apps, books or podcasts that have been helpful to you?
One of my favorite apps to use to edit photos is Lightroom CC and Tezza which is an editing app created by someone I found on Instagram. Her name is @tezzamb.
Also, I am in love with the book “I am that Girl” written by Alexis Jones. It is a self-help book that makes you become the best possible version of yourself by sharing her own and her friend’s personal stories.
