Chicago area traveling puppet show with over 20 years of experience. Offering live puppets and entertainment for children, especially ages 3- 5 years old. We travel to your location and set up a portable stage, indoor or outdoor, for private parties, birthday parties, festivals, library programs, senior homes, corporate events or general audience shows. Puppet shows are a fun and engaging event that becomes a lasting memory for a young child. It’s a sharing experience for the whole family and friends. My Dad had several puppets with his exhibit company.
When I was in 3rd Grade I performed a short show to the music of a Norwegian Opera! My Dad was involved in Kunsholm Theatre on Michigan Ave, Which is now “Opera in Focus” in Rolling Meadows IL.” Storybook Fairy Tales with Moral Lessons We offer a wide ranges of shows including storybook and holiday programs. A puppet show consists of three ten-minute fairy tales of your choice!
Interactive Touch Puppets we bring small animal puppets in front of the stage between each act for an up close and personal audience experience. I studied this method of traditional hand puppetry with Hans Schmidt at his studio on Fremont in Chicago.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There is always competition! My husband was always frustrated with the hours I work! His friends would suggest I work in venues that would not fit my interests or abilities. Now he is more supportive!

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I attended a Christmas in July party at Silvestry Studios (they helped with the Marshall Field’s stores windows) they produced tons of figurines, lights magical displays like Disney land!
