Meet Daniel Kalec of AMPM Premium Car Carrier in Downtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Kalec.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Daniel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Started out in real estate at the young age of 22, had at this point done some acting, both stage and advertising. Found it hard as a 22 year old to sell real estate, and to also have enough income to buy a home for myself. needed a nine to 5 job to qualify for a mortgage worked for a competitor in the early 1990’s joined an auto transport company that started in 1976 transporting cars Chicago area to Florida, mostly snowbirds. I came along in 1996 as new owner working with the company for the previous five years supplying cars for transport as a broker. Joined am/pm premium car carrier. We expanded to nationwide auto transporting. We now cover all fifty states for both open and enclosed auto transports. We work with overseas shippers servicing all ports, do boats and motorcycles too, we work with promotional company’s moving companies and also private individuals. Our reputation is what we rely on for continued business. A+plus rated with the B.B.B.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Most of our struggles had been due to technology and phone costs, the computer has drastically changed our way of doing business.

We offer both on time and dedicated auto transports. Our customers return year after year. We always under promise and over deliver. We take the extra steps to ensure your transport goes as planned. I have personally traveled the entire country by motorcycle and have also sold real estate and understand our customers concerns, including snowbirds, auto dealerships and overseas shippers were on time can be costly if not handled correctly.
