Kim, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started taking care of neighbor’s pets when I was just a kid. I have worked plenty of office jobs but my Passion was drawn back to Cats. I heard once; find your passion and happiness will follow…Referrals, Google and Yelp helped to show people that I truly love caring for these amazing creatures

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Portage Park Cat sitter story. Tell us more about the business.
I take care of Cats when customers are unable. I feed, change the water, administer some medicines, clean the litter box, play with and give attention to cats while their owner is away. I specialize in cats. I am known for; my compassion for cats. What sets me apart from other cat companies, that’s easy, other companies just have workers doing a job. I myself, will make the visits, I understand cat behavior, I am a neat, friendly, and I love cats! What I am most proud of; my customers a thrilled when they find me!
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Yes, First, I will become the best and only cat sitter on the Northside of Chicago.
Second, I will open a no kill Cat Shelter, here on the North side.
Third, I will start a cat clothing line.
Fourth, I will start a brand of healthy/organic cat treats.
