Meet Thomas Bibby Varghese of eBizUniverse in Schaumburg

Today we’d like to introduce you to Thomas Bibby Varghese.

Thomas, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
A while back, when I was working for big 4 consulting firms I used to travel every week. So while I was in town, I wanted to see a doctor pretty quick. My primary care doctor was booked up for 2 weeks so I was looking for a new Primary Care Doctor. After several phone calls to local offices I found a doctor who could see me the same day. His was a brand new practice and had just started out. He was a young physician and very friendly and spent ample time with me. At the end, he said he doesn’t have a website and looking to build a website. I said maybe I could help and sold him my first project. I assembled a team who could handle the work. Next time I visited him, he mentioned he wasn’t getting enough new patients contacting him. So I pitched internet marketing to him and he was sold. Today he has 3 locations and does only premier medicine where most of his patients pay cash for premium treatments. The next project I sold was to my dentist and the third was my Chiropractor and the next thing as they say “I was in business”!

Has it been a smooth road?
Rather than struggles, I would call them challenges. Each challenge is an opportunity to innovate and come up with new solutions for your clients. When you do that, the clients tend to view you as the go to person to solve their problem.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the eBizUniverse story. Tell us more about the business.
We are a digital marketing firm and we help our customers use the power of digital marketing to get more customers. In several cases, digital marketing has changed the lives of our customers.

Customers who were struggling to get leads have finally found a solution. What sets us apart is how customers can track the return on investment of what they pay for compared to other advertising methods.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Mobile is the biggest shift. People may not use PCs anymore. Everything might be on mobile, so the faster we shift everything to mobile, the better.
