Meet Sarah Leonard of Sarah Leonard Team, RE/MAX Suburban

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Leonard.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started in real estate at 21. I had worked prior doing every other aspect in the industry, aside from having my license. That gave me a great perspective into the market and I feel lucky to have had that experience at such a young age.

I currently have a team that consists of seven agents and six administrative staff. We closed about 400 transactions in the past twelve months. Our team consists of listings agents, buyers’ agents, listing organizer, transaction coordinator, inside sales agent, Operational Manager and administrative assistant. Us having a team allows our clients to have very assistance every step of the way so that each transaction is seamless.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The obstacles I have faced have been the amount of growth we had over a short period of time. I love my job, my clients and every aspect of the transaction. To find a group of people to surround myself with that share that same mindset is a hard thing to do. My expectations are VERY HIGH. My team is truly what allows us to do what we do; our inner office is what allows my agents to get out there and do what they do best, SELL!

Please tell us about Sarah Leonard Team, RE/MAX Suburban.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory was all the time I spent at my gym. I grew up competing in gymnastics and loved every minute of it.
