Meet Nicole Fauls of Urban Allure Events in Downtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Fauls.

Nicole, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Urban Allure Events started when I was planning my own wedding in Chicago. I realized I enjoyed every single step of the process and did not want the planning to end! I loved to focus on every detail and wanted to help others create their own vision for their big day. I believe wedding planning is an accumulation of all things creative and beautiful and since everyone is unique in their own way – nothing is ever the same!

Has it been a smooth road?
Starting a business is never easy, but starting a wedding business is so rewarding! I wish we could say we did not struggle but honestly, we did. Figuring out the best marketing strategy and managing our time between business owning and a full-time job was very difficult. It was encouraging to have support from other vendors in the industry. Without their guidance, we would not be where we are today.

Urban Allure Events is an event and wedding planning company that focuses on weddings, corporate parties or social events. Our goal is to create a relationship with our clients so we know answers to questions without asking. Whether our clients are looking for an elegant, contemporary or rustic affair – we have them covered. We offer fully customizable packages to fit any budget or style needs.

We are most proud to be women owned, women run company in a big city. I believe we are different from other companies because we focus on creating a package that works for our client to include all of the “I Do’s” instead of the “We Don’ts”

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I think the city is a great place for my business! There are always events happening in Chicago which allow me to network and continue to grow. I would recommend anyone starting a business here but just remember to check off everything you need to do from the city first!

  • Hourly Rate – $75/hr.
