Meet Kason Wallace of Premier Midwest Realty in Calumet City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kason Wallace.

Kason, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Real Estate is something that I’ve always shown interest in. In high school I wanted to graduate, get my real estate license and start my real estate career! I chose to attend college because I felt like I had to and I was the right thing to do. If I knew then what I know now lol. College was a great experience I met new friends, had tons of fun but I never felt complete after getting my degree in Textiles Apparel and merchandising. (I chose the easiest degree possible to get me out lol) I was the first person in my family to graduate from college. I graduated from college found a job right away so I could purchase my first home. I bought a condo at the age of 22. I lived in it and flipped it for double after 2 years. After the 2nd purchase, I walked away from my job, got my Real Estate license and I’ve been flipping homes and selling homes ever since. After my first purchase, I developed a deeper passion for this business. I’ve worked with 100’s of first-time home buyers and sellers and all have been pleased. Helping people achieve the dream of homeownership is extremely rewarding. I have worked the REO and Bank Owned Market for 10 years. My business model is centered around specializing in REO, Short Sale and Bank Owned listings. 3 years ago, I started my own Company. Today Premier Midwest Realty has 29 brokers and is the number 1 brokerage in Calumet City.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I like to say that I’m pretty fearless. I’ve never been afraid to try something new, set outrageous goals, or walk away from things and/or people that hold me back. I tell my friends all the time if you’re unhappy with a job quit, if your relationship isn’t going anywhere leave it behind. You might miss out on the opportunity of a life time if you stay stuck in the same place. My success has not been easy but every decision has been worth it. I’ve walked away from jobs, a marriage and previous brokerages to get where I am today. I never cared about money or how I was going to pay my bills. I knew in my heart the money would come. All I had to do was treat people with respect and run my business with integrity.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Premier Midwest Realty, INC – what should we know?
We’re a full service Real Estate Brokerage. Licensed in Illinois and Indiana. I’ve worked with 100’s of first-time home buyers and sellers and all have been pleased. Helping people achieve the dream of homeownership is extremely rewarding. I have worked the REO and Bank Owned Market for 10 years. I sell over 100 homes a year. My business model is centered around specializing in REO, Short Sale and Bank Owned listings. Premier Midwest Realty operates on the premise that if the company focuses all its resources on building its agents’ businesses, the agents in turn will build the company beyond all expectations. With that philosophy, we are reshaping the real estate industry.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Integrity has been the most important characteristic to be successful in this business. I pride myself on educating my buyers and sellers and not just selling them a home to earn a paycheck. So many people make a purchase and still have no clue about the home buying process and everything it entails. My business has grown because I do what’s right in a world where people are fighting each other to get ahead. It’s not about the money…when you do what’s right the money will come.
